Interactive periodic table: 118 elements

This interactive periodic table gives the atomic number, molar mass, family and state of every element: click an element to see its card.

The interactive periodic table helps with the chemistry lessons, the worksheets and the quizzes: for example, check a molar mass before a mole calculation, or the group of an element before a bonding question. It is free and works on any screen.

Each element card shows the atomic number, the molar mass, the family, the state at 25 °C and, up to Z = 18, the electrons in each shell. The colours mark the families, such as the alkali metals, the halogens and the noble gases, so you can see at a glance why elements in the same group react in a similar way. Moreover, the table helps you find the number of protons, neutrons and electrons of an atom, work out the formula of an ionic compound or compare the reactivity of two metals. Students from grade 6 to AP use it for homework, labs and revision before a test.

Interactive periodic table at a glance

Quick answer: This interactive periodic table shows all 118 elements with their chemical family, state at room temperature and electron shells, plus a game to test what you know.

Tap an element to see its family, state, electron shells and more. Then try the game to test yourself.
