Maths Facile: math practice with a robot guide on your phone

Maths Facile is a math practice app for Android in which a small robot called Mathbot explains the French programme from 6ème (Grade 6) to Terminale (Grade 12). It offers lessons, problems sorted by difficulty, quizzes, tests and ten interactive tools.

The app shows no advertising and needs no account. Your scores and favourites stay on your phone, so you can practise in short sessions. Each chapter ends with a test marked out of 20.

At a glance

  • Platform: Android
  • Levels: 6ème (Grade 6) to Terminale (Grade 12)
  • Tools: 10 interactive tools
  • Challenge: 10 timed mental maths questions
  • Language: French
  • Account and advertising: none

Getting started in four steps

  1. Install Maths Facile on your Android phone or tablet.
  2. Pick your level, from 6ème (Grade 6) to Terminale (Grade 12).
  3. Read a lesson: definitions, step-by-step methods, solved examples and diagrams.
  4. Do the problems, starting with one star, then two, then three, and finish with the chapter test.

What is inside the math practice app

  • Lessons with definitions, methods, worked examples and diagrams.
  • Problems graded by difficulty: one star for easy, two for medium, three for hard.
  • Quizzes of 10 questions with immediate correction, Mathbot’s explanations and sounds, offered at the 6ème and 4ème levels.
  • One test per chapter, marked out of 20, to practise real exam conditions.
  • The Mathbot Challenge: 10 timed mental maths questions per level, with points, streaks and records.

A good session lasts about fifteen minutes. Read one lesson, solve three or four problems of the same star level, then take the quiz if your level offers it. Moving up one star only after a clean series of answers keeps the progression steady and honest, which is how a careful experimenter increases difficulty step by step.

Ten tools that explain their result

The tools do more than give an answer, they show how to find it. They cover GCD and LCM, prime factors, fractions, percentages, cross-multiplication, mean and median, the Pythagorean theorem, equations, second-degree equations and a unit converter.

Why science students use it

Physics and chemistry run on arithmetic. Percentages appear in concentrations and uncertainties, cross-multiplication in proportional reasoning, mean and median in repeated measurements, and the unit converter in every lab report. Practising these skills separately makes the science lessons easier. The app organises the chapters by topic: numbers and calculation, geometry, quantities and measurements, data and probability, algebra, functions, sequences and analysis.

Language and website

The app uses French, like the programme it follows. Detailed answer keys and printable PDF sheets are on the Maths Facile website, which you can reach from the app. For physics and chemistry practice in English, browse the science books of this site.

Mathbot acts as a patient tutor. When an answer is wrong, the explanation tells you why, and the correction appears immediately, so a mistake becomes a small lesson rather than a lost point. The tests, marked out of 20, give a familiar score that you can track from one chapter to the next.

Because the lessons are in French, keep a small list of key terms with their English translation, such as fraction, equation and mean. It makes the level names and the tool names easier to follow, and it turns the app into a gentle introduction to French mathematical vocabulary.

Tips

  • Estimate the answer before using a tool, then check the explanation it displays.
  • Replay the Mathbot Challenge each week and compare your record, as you would compare two series of measurements.

Frequently asked questions

What is Maths Facile?

Maths Facile is an Android app for learning math from 6ème (Grade 6) to Terminale (Grade 12). A robot called Mathbot guides you through lessons, problems of three difficulty levels, quizzes, chapter tests and ten interactive tools.

Which tools are included in the app?

There are ten: GCD and LCM, prime factors, fractions, percentages, cross-multiplication, mean and median, the Pythagorean theorem, equations, second-degree equations and a unit converter. Each one explains how it reaches the result.

Does Maths Facile need a registration or show ads?

You need no registration, and the app contains no advertising. Your finished chapters, best scores, favourites and Challenge points stay on your phone, and the app asks for no personal data.

Can I use Maths Facile in English?

The app itself uses French. The mental maths Challenge and the tools rely on numbers, so they are easy to follow, but the lessons and explanations are in French, matching the French school programme.
